The term Soft Computing is usually used to refer to a family of several preexisting techniques (Fuzzy Logic, Neuro-computing, Probabilistic Reasoning, Evolutionary Com- putation, etc.) able to work in a cooperative way, taking profit from the main advantages of each individual technique, in order to solve lots of complex real-world problems for which other classical techniques are not quite well suited. In the specialized literature there are many Soft Computing tools, most of them freely available as open source software. This work gives an overview on existing tools for system modeling. Moreover, it introduces a new environment for building interpretable and accurate systems by means of combining several preexisting tools.
